But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ, by grace you have been saved, and raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:4-6
To the holy people of God,
Receive God’s Word in Psalm 148:14, “He has made his people strong, honoring his faithful ones-the people of Israel who are close to him. Praise the Lord!” Beloved saints, praise pours from our lips to our God who is close to us. Be blessed to walk in His nearness, every moment of every day. We, His faithful are not perfect, far from it, rather we share the title of ‘saint’, those who have confessed our sins and been purified by the blood of Jesus Christ. (1 John 1:7-9) Be blessed to die to all that separates us from His love and to restored in strength, His strength. Be blessed by His protection as we are protected by the power of God, the Holy Spirit (1 Peter 1:5) to share His message of love, sincerely and from a pure heart. (1 Peter 1:22).
Ephesians 2:6 promises that we can expect more as we walk together with the Lord, not less, “that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.” Beloved, we share exceeding riches of grace! “May grace and peace be yours in the fullest measure,” 1 Peter 1:2b.
We were dead, separated, excluded and strangers to this promise (Eph 2:12) and now we are made alive, and raised up with Christ and seated with God in the heavenly places. Be blessed to walk in love, great love, a love that can never be separated, not by death or life, nor angels or demons neither fears for today nor our worries for tomorrow, not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. (Romans 8:38)
And now we say, “Jesus is Lord” and this is only accomplished by the presence of the Holy Spirit. (1 Cr 12:3) Jesus is Lord…and the Holy Spirit is present. Through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, a spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. (1 Cor 12:7) Be blessed to walk in the abundance of your gift, have you been given wise advice? Special knowledge? Great faith? Gift of healing, or prophecy or miracles? And there is more! Be blessed to read with understanding the gifts you have been given by the Holy Spirit . (1 Cor 12 and Eph 4).
Be blessed to walk in the nearness of God, in the power given only by the Holy Spirit to be a light in this world. We are a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden (Mt 5:14) and this is a constant and reassuring picture of all of us who love and are loved by God. We are a city, a bright focus for His glory, a welcoming respite for those who are lost, a protected place for those who are His. We, His holy people, live in His city named “The City of God’s Delight” (Is 62) Be blessed as you go out through the city gates, prepare the highway for His people to return, smooth out the road and raise a flag in the name of Jehovah Shammah, “the Lord is present”, whose presence in our lives has raised us up and filled us to overflowing with His exceeding riches of grace to proclaim His message of good news.
This next blessing is written specifically for women. In joy!
She that goes forth bearing precious seed will return with songs of joy bringing sheaves with her.
To His daughters near unto Him,
Welcome God’s Word for you in Ps 126:6. She that goes forth bearing precious seed will return with songs of joy bringing sheaves with her. You bear the precious seed! Be blessed to sow seed in all circumstances, weeping in grief, persevering in trials, and walking in joy.
Be blessed by the nearness of God (Ps 78:12) as you dig in the dirt (that is, do the messy stuff), remove rocks (do the hard stuff), fertilize (the stinky stuff), plant seeds (the fun part) and as you await harvest. Know that you lack no wisdom in whatever He has called you to accomplish-you need only ask of God who will supply you generously (James 1:5).
God promises in His word that you “as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices” but not in your own strength. God is your strong fortress (Ps 86:5) and you are guarded, surrounded, protected on all sides by His mercy. (Ps 32:10)
Dear sisters in Christ, be blessed by His love as you walk in His calling. You are all letters from Christ displaying the result of His work among you. This letter is written not with pen and ink, but with the Spirit of the living God. It is carved not on tablets of stone, but on human hearts, your hearts. (2 Cor 3:3).
You are letters of Christ, living out loud by your faith in Jesus who loves you immeasurably. (Gal 2:20) He will continually replenish whatever you sow unto others and promises you will always be satisfied by the goodness of His house. (Ps 65:4)
Beloved letters of Christ, be enheartened by your calling to be salt of the earth, there is no greater blessing than to be the extravagant flavor God chooses to season others’ lives with! Your lives are a testimony of the seed He planted in you, and now the fruit, which is the result of your obedience.
The fruits are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness and self-control and you enjoy their sweetness as part of your inheritance, your family identity grounded in the Spirit of the Living God.
Be blessed sisters, by the name Ruach Chen, the Holy Spirit who provides limitless grace as you abundantly pour seeds of joy into the lives of others. Zec 12:10
